Welcome to the website for the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Oregon.  The lab director is Andrew Karduna, Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Physiology.  The overall goal of our laboratory is to understand the underlying biomechanical mechanisms associated with the function and structure of the human shoulder.

Dr Karduna was recently awarded a 4 year, $700,000 R01 grant from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health entitled:"A Biomechanical Study of Work-Related Shoulder Disorders" Here is the abstract.

And there was much rejoicing...

We are located in 304 Gerlinger Hall.  Phone: (541) 346-0441
